JSSD is an active participant in the local communities. The District realizes the importance of supporting and celebrating the community and the individuals that make its operations possible.
JSSD is a regular participant in supporting the local youth of Wasatch County. JSSD supports the yearly junior livestock auction in which it helps to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the youth involved. JSSD also sponsors an annual fishing tournament for the National Abilities Center.
In addition to these events, JSSD provides tours and educational information for various groups throughout the year including church youth groups, Boy Scouts troops and groups from various agencies from the surrounding areas.
